Many Iranian Muslims do not know about the truth of the Gospel and the free gift God has presented us by His Grace. Merely many Iranians still believe that Jesus was either a Prophet or a Religious Teacher, a false idea far from the truth and what’s actually taught in the Bible. Our goal at Philadelphia Persian Church is to proclaim the truth that Jesus Christ is God who came to this world in human body in order to save us from our sins; he was crucified, died, and raised from the dead after three days.

The Bible says:

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out (Acts 3:19).

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9).

Jesus says, “I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.” (John 5:24).

He also says, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

Today, the redeeming words of the Bible are being reached to the Iranians in different parts of the world, and many Iranians are becoming believers in Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It is not us or other Christians who claim Jesus is God, the truth of Jesus being God is a fact that is clearly stated and proved in the Bible and claimed by Jesus himself.

The Bible teaches us that the main problem which keeps humans away from God is “sin” and their sinful nature. The only way towards salvation is belief in Jesus Christ, and that he was crucified for our sins to be forgiven and was raised from the dead.
